Best slow-core record ever. A masterpiece that must be in every collection. The drums of Doug Sharin is perfect.
Slow-core at its best. This is actually quite heavy, the distortion is loud and the lyrics tender.
The lead singer sings on Wird: "I wanna walk/But I have to crawl", and I guess that sums up Codeine's music as well. They could play fast and aggressive, but instead they tone it down and plays in a sleepy slumbering style. They could play Hardcore, but instead they play Slowcore.
