Muddy Waters epitomizes the blues. Others have had more commercial success, there have been many superior players, and most are more charismatic. However, nobody makes you believe he's suffered and hustled through life like Muddy Waters. "I'm Ready" IS the blues. This album should be the first blues album anyone buys.
