They were invited to the White House, under the guise that they would not play one particular song. They played 'American Woman' anyway, and were kicked out. How badass is that? (Edited)

Released in Jan '70, The strength of side 1 of American Woman carries this to flagship status.

Despite a weaker latter half, this should still be considered the peak Guess Who album - and was the last to feature Randy Bachman, who would go on to form Brave Belt, and of course, BTO.
