As a Portishead fan and hearing Beth had fronted an orchestra I was immediately interested and I was surprised just how much I enjoyed the entire experience
Gibbons' voice is immaculate as it soars and pierces with a powerful orchestral score making for an aching and intoxicatingly beautiful mix
Simply wonderful
Not at all like David Zinmans version. A copy in arrangements, but the singing lacks the touch for this type of material. In Portishead shes wonderful.
