Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 62.7/100, a mean average of 60.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 60.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 12.8.

I'm not going to lie, we felt the coming disappointment, 3 years between "Blank Face" and "CrasH Talk", lack of inspiration from Q confirmed since it swayed three albums in the trash because Jay Rock and Kendrick told him it was shit! A succession of singles and music videos uninspired not worthy of an album ... Then this "CHopstix", probably the worst single of Q. The first thing that struck me after a few listenings is the lack of personality of the album and I say the album because if I appreciate so much ScHoolboy Q it's precisely for his personality: his flow, his voice, his instinctivity, his dark and experimental universe, his humor, his funny Gangster side, his fight with depression ... But hey, "CrasH Talk" is not completely missed, there are always those big bangers that break your neck ("5200", "Floating","Die Wit Em", "Gang Gang"...). TDE loses its originality and sells a little more his ass. Ab-soul has not released a good album since "Control System", Jay Rock do uninteresting pop trap on his last album...
