The Quintessential Motown Vocal Group!!!! Yes, I Put Them ABOVE The Temptations, The Supremes, and The Jackson 5. These guys had everything! A strikingly versatile lead singer in Levi Stubbs,and the vocal harmonies of Duke Fakir, Obie Benson. and Lawrence Payton. Stubbs could croon and growl (often in the same song) and the Motown machine knew just hot to back them up. This Anthology covers the wide variety of styles of music the Tops have performed throughout their career. My personal favorite among the many favorites here is "Bernadette".
