Apr20. At the time of writing this, 'Cells' has been sitting in the #1 spot on my #2019Hotterest100 for some time; it is a cracking song. 'Something Good' is also a cracker, but I don't really know the other songs. 'Invincible' brings an almost blues element in parts and in others is straight up pop-rock. I'm not really sure how to describe 'Omens' but it is cool with a chugging riff following a big bass line and then has almost a gothic feel, especially to the vocals. A few middling songs through the middle. 'Young Hearts' has an emo sort of feel and is a good song. The album finishes with a strong rocker in 'The Fire is Cold'. Other than the first two corkers, I simply need more time to get into this one. 3.5/5
