Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.3/100, a mean average of 76.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.4.

If you took the average of my song ratings, this album would get a 90.83, but I rated this album a strong 95 (borderline 100). Why? This album is (1) truly much greater than the sum of its parts, blending everything together so perfectly for an unpredictable and wild journey and (2) the risks taken by this album are absolutely insane, so even some off moments that make me dock points for a song do not deserve the album as a whole to be docked. It is a truly inspirational and one-in-a-million album.

He's a great sound designer and has many tricks on his sleeve. Unfortunately not a great musician, nor a focused producer. Results in an unfiltered torrent of ideas and consequently an average album.

Very enjoyable to listen to and entertaining but the latter half of the album is a little less compelling than the first half. It's a very detailed album. You could spend weeks trying to decipher every sound. It's chaotic but focused in that manner. I like JPEG's sound a lot and I think it has potential to get even better.

No, Peggy, I don't think I know you just yet. This album is a tough one to figure out. It takes so many twists and turns that it is impossible to predict where it takes you next. Luckily, the road is an adventurous one, full of amazing soundscapes with impeccable production. I think it's an improvement over Veteran, and it's a pretty good album (7/10) even if there are some stale moments when reaching the second half.

Favorites: Jesus Forgive Me, I'm a Thot, Grimy Waifu, Rap Grow Old & Die X No Child Left Behind

This just gets better with every listen. I would not be upset if hip hop takes notes from this textbook for the 2020s

Better than Veteran in terms of artistic quality and magnificent production. I've got to sit back and chew on this one for a while though, as it's an intense collage of different sounds constantly thrown at you. There's no way this can be digested in one day, but for now, I'd say this is quite the imaginative album. There's no way you can compare him to Death Grips now, this is simply and purely JPEGMAFIA in his own zone
