The band's best album. "Take Me Out" will forever be hailed as one of the greatest Indie songs of all time. The quality rarely drops (tracks 5 and 6 are the weakest), and the album is packed with essential Indie songs.

It's good but at some point it all starts to sound the same again.

A fresh and utterly infectious album. Obviously hugely inspired Talking Heads, still, Franz Ferdinand's debut was a thoroughly enjoyable and original album. Unfortunately, considering all the excitement over their first record, they never really managed to follow it up. Still, this is a standout album of the 2000's.

Franz Ferdinand's self-titled debut album brought back dance-punk music. Featuring tons of great tracks, my favourites being "Dark og the Matinee", "Auf Achse", "Cheating On You", "Michael", and "Take Me Out". A great modern punk album.

First 5 songs were fantastic. The closer was decent and the rest was just missing something.
