Playful home-recorded art-pop in a variety of odd musical styles (mainly pseudo-harpsichord chamber music and vaudeville bossa nova) with a succession of literate, humorous, and often perverted lyrics. 'Everyone I Have Ever Slept With' is hilarious and 'Coming In A Girls Mouth' must be heard as it gets in to the philosophy of ejaculation on faces and whether this a sacred act with biblical significance. 'Harry K-Tel' is about phone sex between his sister and a faded actor. 'Born To Be Adored' and 'Old Friend, New Flame' were the tracks chosen to be included on his Anthology album. But all of it is listenable and interesting though it starts to feel a little samey towards the end.

The track 'Walter Carlos' listed above was only on the original release. Momus was landed with a lawsuit by Wendy Carlos who objected to the song, and it was removed from subsequent releases and is not on streaming services.

The last 8 tracks are instrumental versions which he provided as karaoke versions. He asked fans to record themselves singing to them, promising to include the best ones on his next album.
