Boogie Down Productions was the collaboration of KRS-One, D-Nice, and DJ Scott LaRock and they put out thoughtful hip-hop, which avoided Gansta rap cliche. Scott LaRock lost his life at age 25, in 1987, and this album is dedicated to him. Released in 1988 and again in 1997 Cat #: BB2000 on B-Boy Records, this is a fine tribute. Verified on discogs.com.
