it all came together on this one - it's the blueprint - he kept the squeeze box out of most songs and channeled it into his finest feature: the polka medley

Eat It was massive. The rest of this album is propped up by it.
The album that made Weird Al famous. I used to play it all the time when I was really young because I didn't really know what music was. Although it is funny it has become dated and can only be listened to every once in a great while. "Buy Me A Condo" style parody of reggae is underrated. "Polkas On 45" is arguably his best polka song.

There are three bands/artists for whom I want to collect everything they ever made. First is the Beatles, kind of obviously. Second, the Moody Blues, for personal reasons. The third artist is Weird Al. Every time I hear an album of his, I'm gonna laugh, no matter how many times I've heard it. This one is his best, with great originals ("Midnight Star", "Buy Me a Condo", and "Nature Trail to Hell"),
