A transformative album from Al, he's got one foot in the 80s and the other one ahead in the 90s. He's trading quirky for absurd and edgy. The best example of this is Fat, which at first seems like a lazy remake of Eat It, but instead of an innocent and relatable situation relying on food humor, Fat is a relentless stream of self-deprecating insults that don't hold back. Another highlight is the closer, where he gives a straight delivery of a nostalgic, disturbingly psychopathic James Taylor. Little gems don't get beaten to death, like the 1 minute Beastie Boys toy commercial, his first real take on hip hop. Al was so keen on sharpening his humor and developing the quality of his original compositions that he forewent the polka altogether, and it's not any weaker for it.

Probably his best. He goes back to cutting up Michael Jackson, has several other great parodies, and his originals don't take away from the album.
