Those who impetuously name Pablo Milanes as the greatest ever Cuban Singer Songwriter have clearly, though understandably, fallen into the trap of ignoring or forgetting Silvio Rodriguez. This is probably his most accessible if not even his finest ever album release. Not quite all his greatest songs are here but all the songs here are amongst his greatest.

Interesting guitar. Lyrics are sometimes good, but at times they feel a bit uninteresting. Without Ojalá I woulf probably have given a lower grade.

Too Commie 4 deal
On Al Final de Este Viaje, Silvio gets rid of the string arrangements of his previous releases which gives this album a more intimate quality and lets his intricate guitar work fully shine.
