Where it all came together for the overweight lover Heavy D. "Got Me Waiting", "Sex Wit You" and, especially, the title track really deliver the goods. Hev may not be the best rapper but his raps are relateable and soulful, perhaps a bit saccharine for the tastes of some hip-hop fans.

If you like the hip hop sound of "peaceful journey" then you'll like this album by Heavy D and his boyz. Got Me Waiting and Sex Wit You are good starting points on this album. Too bad there has to be a 5 minute answering machine message montage before the album really starts though.
