Revisiting the 50th anniversary of Wishbone Ash's classic 1973 live album Live Dates with a re-recording of the album featuring the current band. Unfortunately the band seems to have taken a step back, even from when I saw them live in 2022, as this album isn't nearly as energetic as it should be. Still a few redeeming performances--this version of Lady Whiskey is strong, and Phoenix is always a showstopper--but definitely not the place to start if you want to get into Wishbone Ash's long live history.
