Wonderful band that made better use of the guitar than any other prog band! Even when some of their later stuff got less "proggy" and more hard rock or bluesy, I kept listening because I wanted to hear what they could do with the guitar, and they always did something spectacular!
So glad I discovered this band!! Such great rock n roll music, and those guitars man!
Where has this band been my entire life? On just a few listens, Argus and There's the Rub have become two of my favorite albums, and both their self-titled and Pilgrimage are pretty great too. More exploring for me to do, but I'm absolutely in love with what I've found so far. You probably won't find many bands that make better use of the guitar than Wishbone Ash.
