Innanzitutto la mia canzone preferita di Verlaine del dopo "Marquee moon" sta proprio qua ( "The scentist writes a letter" ), poi, oltre alla qualità ottima di altre canzoni, mi piace il tono rilassato dell'album, l'apparente non avere più bisogno di dimostrare di non soffrire per l'ingombrante paragone con "Marquee moon".
A superlative solo album that reveals itself over time. Songs like Annie's Tellin Me and One Time At Sundown are marvelous psychedelic gems whose genius is only exposed under the right conditions.
