I finally understood the purpose of this song; it's a satire of the futility of the blues, of bands that only did that. Pink Floyd, to represent the absence of ideas, put the dog to sing in that style of music, and it works well too.

To understand the importance of this live album without an audience, you first need to understand the history of Pink Floyd and then make an analogy with "the wall", then you need to understand a little technically about music and what it should represent, thirdly you need to understand the history of music and what influence this band and this album had on the bands that succeeded it, we are in 1972 which represents a change in Pink Floyd itself and in music in general with the release of an album in 1973 that represents its metamorphosis "The Dark Side of the Moon"
