This album is underrated on this site. If you are looking for good synth pop melodies, look no further with this album. Helped me understand how to play the synthesizer to make better melodies. I love this album. I recommend it to anybody to plays keyboard

Fantastic album. Pretty underrated on BEA, as are all Passion Pit records. Early 2010's indie rock doesnt get a whole better than this. Over-production is kind of his thing. This is a maximalist masterpiece.
Best tracks: Take a Walk, Carried Away, Constant Conversations, Cry Like A Ghost, Love is Greed, Its Not My Fault, I'm Happy

This album is all kinds of worth it. Passion Pit’s first album was excellent and there is in no way a sophomore slump with them. This album is just as good as the first one. Catchy melodies strewn across well-made electronic pop sounds, this album is beautiful and fun at the same time. I’ve always been amazed at lead singer Michael Angelakos’s voice. It’s so high yet so controlled. This is electronic pop at it’s finest.
Really cool album for 2012. I like it a lot more than their first album. Filled with great hooks and the lyricism is great when you pay attention the lyrics.

This has some really fun tunes on it. Occasionally dude's voice bothers me a bit, but it fails to ruin it for me.
I don't understand how this can be criticized for having "not enough hooks" - this album is dripping with them! It's all subjective anyway...but, subjectively, I love this album. Powerful, pulsating happiness the whole way through - if you ignore the lyrics.
It's that great Kinks thing of optimistic uplifting music with pessimistic depressing lyrics. His voice is fantastic and I'd say this is better than their debut. It's more cohesive. It's 21st Century young adult troubles funneled into blissful and meticulous electro-pop.

I love Take A Walk. That's a great track, but nothing else really made me hold on. Excellent production, and a very easy listen, but just a bit same-y sounding.
