Non servono molti ascolti di questo "Talk is cheap" per convincersi che Keith Richards aveva centrato il bersaglio come ai Rolling Stones non accadeva da tanto tempo. C'è tutto Richards in questo album che all'epoca poteva, seppur bello, apparire datato e che oggi ha le stimmate del classico senza tempo. E che come i migliori "vini costosi" più passa il tempo e più appare irresistibile.
Not a bad album for Keiths first solo attempt. Better than anything Mick Jagger put out and also better than most Stones albums, but a bit hit and miss with some pretty dodgy 80s production in places. You Don't Move Me, his dig at Jagger, the standout track.
It is funny to think that only now (today) has risen from BEA's lists, the man's album, who started 50 years ago, his career as a band called The Rolling Stones!
