I love the Funky / Soul sound from this album with catchy dance tunes. The instrumentation is authentic and at the time of its release I was just starting to visit night clubs. I can play it today and have no problem reciting the lyrics.
These guys can really groove. Pick up the pieces is an obvious classic but there are some other great tunes here particularly got the love which is a scorcher
Hot damn, this is good! If you're looking for some great 70's funk/soul, these pasty crackers from Scotland deliver the goods. And then some.
