As a fan of J Cole, I was left a little disappointed by this album considering how long he hyped it. First of all, it's a very long album that I found hard to get into. It would have benefited from two different releases, the songs are ok but I don't think there is going to any classic song for his discographie in this album. The second part is also way better than the first one imo. Best songs: life sentence, i love her again and quick stop.
Finding this album so low in the rank for 2026 it seems that best ever albums has lost its relevance for real music it's very disappointing to see that other reviewers are giving it at 70 wthout even listening the whole album it's it's it's an amazing album he has a lot of great samples it also has mastery of wrapping legacy this guy is touching on the legacy of hip Hop through hits all history until the end and the fall of so if you don't understand what the fell off is about then you should listen to it completely
