Apparently the Squeeze band members wrote this concept album (about a fictional nightclub) when they were teenagers, and just releasing it now. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this album, and I think the whole nightclub concept works as well. Squeeze is one of the bands that I overlooked apart from the odd single in the 70s, but I should revisit their early albums after this enjoyable listen. (Edited)
