Ol' Yellow Eyes Is Back

Data does his lounge act with a bit of cheesiness, and oversings often with lots of vibrato. I don't think Spiner is always in character as Data, though - maybe only sometimes. And it's still actually fairly good. There are some classic covers here that you've heard before, but then stuff like the wacky "Toot Toot Tootsie" and swingin "Zing! Went The Strings Of My Heart" that you don't hear too often. Spiner has backup on "It's A Sin To Tell A Lie" from "The Sunspots" who are: LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, and Patrick Stewart. It's not like any of these tracks will surpass the originals or other covers, but he's a lot better singer than some other Star Trek alumni (Nichelle Nichols still holds the top spot though).
