A beautiful symphonic rock masterpiece presented in an extremely wintery atmosphere, mixing heavy and anxious riffage and poetic sensibility with a classical feel of Russian tragedy. Achieved musically by marrying the drunkard earthiness of Balkanic folk with the wonderous and sad but picturesque poetry of Sergej Jesenjin. The atmosphere is eternally melancholy and tired of itself but the heavy riffage and the symphonic and epic arrangements push it to pure resentful levels of both pity and anger. The vocals are thundering but never pretentious and aggressive but never cocky. These feelings are portrayed so well that when the album ends with the wonderful folk hard rock ode 'Pismo Majci', you could even fully understand why Jesenjin commited suicide. 'Jelena', 'Sviraj Harmoniko' and 'Krčmarska Moskva' are the standouts of the decade and in all of rock music, but realistically all of the songs are excellent. Best album of 1988 and the best album ever by a Bosnian band.
