Warning : A contrary opinion ! For me this album (and Band) is a little overrated . In the late `80s / early 90`s Obituary ; Massacre ; Atheist ; Sadus along with Death released far better records . (Edited)
maybe the most important album in death-metal. Death might have been the first, and Morbid Angel the ones who trully separated the genre from thrash-metal, but Suffocation shaped death-metal as we know it today (Edited)
