Not as shitty as some say, but not as good as the sales and the Grammy would say either. Average work by an unoriginal band. Listen to Fleet Foxes instead.
They loved Sigh No More so much that they made it again but even worse! (Edited)

Oh man. Mumford & Sons are good. They are so very good. This band has absolutely exploded since they released their debut album and I love them. If you liked “Sigh No More" as much as the majority of America did, you’ll love this album. This is Mumford & Sons continuing right where they left off. Thankfully, this album is a little bit (but only a little) happier than “Sigh No More" was. It’s like every song on “Sigh No More" was so angry and angsty, which I didn’t necessarily have a problem with. But this album is a slight bit happier and the music is still awesome. Hop onto the bandwagon of this band because it’s going to be a great ride. Also, if you can, get the deluxe version with the bonus tracks. They’re good and it features a cool cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Boxer" featuring Jerry Douglas of Alison Krauss & Union Station on dobro.
Didn't really expand on Sigh No More. It's too much of the same sound and same theme and I guess that makes you appreciate how good Sigh No More actually was. I knew going in it was going to be very tough for them to make an album anywhere close to it and I was right. This album has its moments but when you look back on the 2010's, The Cave and Little Lion Man will likely be up there in best songs of the decade. Plus Roll Away Your Stone, Winter Winds and the title track imo are much better than even the best song on this album.

Fine album, nothing outstanding, have to make the question though, Would these guys be relevant if they didn't have a banjo??
