Great band from Olympia, WA along the likes of Unwound, Karp, Modest Mouse, and Built To Spill. All those bands hungout and played with one another during the early 90s in Seattle even if they weren't necessarily from Seattle. This album most closely sounds like a mix between Unwound and Cap n' Jazz or an edgier Built To Spill at times. This was produced by the legendary Phil Ek (see Built To Spill, Modest Mouse, Unwound, Shins, Fleet Foxes...)
Highlights include: B, Pennies To Save, Cue Cards, Perfect Shot, & Turtle with my favorite being Cue Cards. If you like post-hardcore or midwest emo, you'll like this.
