"AMSP is an album that "makes sense" in Radiohead discography at this point of their career, it's the "maturity chapter". It sounds like a lesson at the end of a parable: after 100 stories of cybernetic monsters under the bed, it's time to get naked and deal with a more human melancholy. Then AMSP..." Reply

"Blonde is brilliant. That might even be the extent to which I can give my thoughts on this album. That is all. It is just a brilliant album. Ocean takes us on an emotional, dreamy adventure into his own world, and introduces us to a new class of music. The sound of Blonde is experimental without ..." Reply

"Though I could see myself returning to raise the score of this record - perhaps adding it to the top of list at some point - I have to say that I need more time to see how it plays out. In the context of 2016, this record is probably the best thing to come out all year (aside from The Glowing Man..." Reply

"I have to admit I didn’t know too much of Danny Brown’s work before this album. Now I’m wondering why. I can’t even describe what I like about Atrocity Exhibition, it’s just so busy and loud and colourful. I haven’t felt this level of confused exhilaration since I first listened to Spank Rock. Be..." "It really warms my heart to see how quickly this album has risen on the 2016 list. This is my first "new" Nick Cave album as I'm still not two years into him. I bought as soon as it came out last Friday, have listened to it at least a dozen times and I still have barely any words. When Nick Cave ..." Reply

"Astonishingly beautiful. Justin Vernon is a genius. Too early to say whether I prefer this to A Moon Shaped Pool, but it's definitely up there as one of the albums of the year." Reply

"The original(ish) slimmer tracklist with the three-act structure is actually way more effective and consistent. Act One 1. Famous 2. Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 3. Pt. 2 4. Waves Act Two 5. "Far and away her best album, surpassing self titled by a mile. The shorter tracklist, varied track lengths, assortment of featured artists, visuals and production all combine for an enjoyable, well executed experience." Reply

"One could argue that this is A Tribe's best record. I'd still put The Low End Theory first but this is undoubtedly a powerful, emotional, and worthy final outing from one of the greatest rap groups of all time. Highlights for me are Whateva Will Be, Space Program, We The People..., and Dis Genera..." Reply
