Not their worst, not their best. With Apochryphon they added something new, but they remained pretty static through all their first albums. Execrator is great

Thick guitars, riff-centered songs, long guitar solos, and mythical songs like “The Veil Of Isis" or “Eyes Of The Stormwitch". That's what you get with this album. I will say, The Sword doesn’t exactly delve into different genres or sounds that often, though they make some progress on this album, dipping into some different sounds. It’s a great album and if you’re already a fan of The Sword, you certainly won’t be disappointed by this album.
