This album is the best album if you like drums and bass. An awesome collection of brilliant powerful beats like Breakaway, Tin Drum, Big Hotel, Charlie and more. This is the most underrated album by a band gone too soon, I remember seeing them at Expo 88 in Brisbane as my first big concert and they where awesome! A great album.

Yes I remember having this album in my collection and I liked it for a short while, course because of the song Breakaway and I also liked Fine Thing and Big Hotel but as a whole it was a pretty good album.

No comments or ratings yet? Wow! This is a fantastic album by a relatively unknown and sadly short-lived Aussie percussive pop outfit. You might be familiar with "Breakaway," which was featured on the soundtrack for "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" in 1989, but as catchy as that tune proved to be, there's so much more to offer on this album.
Every song is a powerhouse. If I had to single a few out as lackluster, I suppose it would be "Tin Drum" (and maybe "Charlie") from the original release track list, and the two redundant remixes at the end of the 1992 reissue disc. However, "Hellbent Heaven," also a reissue addition, is arguably one of the best on the disc. I defy anyone to listen to this album without tapping a toe or dancing in your seat.
If you're a fan of driving, rhythmic percussion, harmonica and simple but incredibly catchy pop melodies , do yourself a favor and grab "Bonk." Avoid their followup, though. This is a one-time achievement of brilliance.
