"Not as good as TA13OO imo, but it's straight fire. Shorter (only 29 minutes), more to the point and much more upbeat and hard-hitting. However I find TA13OO to be a more engaging listen, although both albums are excellent. Cannot wait to hear more from Denzel!" Reply

"Kevin Barnes is nuts in his own looneyverse, as is the rest of of montreal. Their album satanic panic in the attic propelled them to my ears as a constant enjoyment in 2004 (and after). Such eccentricities can make for inconsistent albums, but on satanic, those eccentricities make for a rich, mag..." [+] Reply

"This was the last Cranberries album I bought. I kind of lost interest in them at this point. It's not awful or anything but there's not really anything new or interesting here. It's much easier and more rewarding to just listen to Everybody Else Is Doing It for the 600th time." Reply
"Two Against Nature is actually a remarkably consistent Steely Dan record: It SOUNDS like Steely Dan, it has songs by Becker and Fagen, it has immaculate playing and occasional immaculate grooves, but in the end...this all feels very hollow and in service of a band that seems to be merely attempti..." "Excellent debut continuing the current trend for all things shoegaze albeit with some motorik krautrock thrown into the mix. DIIV's reverb heavy dream-pop is nonetheless engaging at times often reminescent of Swedish nu-gazers The Radio Dept." Reply

"So much good music here. "Miles Davis" and "The End" are favorites. It's ridiculously long, but I can't decide whether that adds to or detracts from its greatness. It's tough to get through the whole thing in one sitting, but taken in pieces, it's all fantastic." Reply
"When Sepultura decided to go for a more groove metal sound, it definitely paid off. The singles from this album are amazing, especially ''Refuse/Resist.''" Reply

"A great indie rock album, not quite sure whey these guys have never garnered much attention. "Fortress" especially is an absolute gem of a song." Reply
"This is an overlooked masterpiece. It's an awesome rock and roll record. It includes perhaps one of the most heartbreakingly honest songs ever written in "You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory". Really, I don't know what exactly it is about this record that makes me feel so close to it and atta..." [+] Reply
