Sparks is basically lots of fun, a louder version of ROXY MUSIC. I think that for most listeners this is music is not very easy to grab and like. The songs have clear sameness between them and that makes them hard to discern.
One breather track on each side could have been a nice option.
I do not actively hate it, but a revisit after this listen is difficult to, tedious listen in one sitting,
The usage of this album at a party or active listening is not very convenient or easy, put a few songs to a mixtape or Spotify list.

Fun and surprisingly close to being a great album.
They did this opera style before Queen. Perfect album.

The best glam rock album I've ever heard, with the exception of Ziggy Stardust. Charismatic, inventive, and fun, everything glam rock should be.

Gli Sparks, soprattutto quelli di "Kimono my house", sono una formazione curiosa e bizzarra. Si potrebbero etichettare come glam, ma sono distanti da quanto comunemente si intende come glam. Sono pop, ma il loro è un pop intelligente, marziale, ironico. La loro musica ha un incedere teutonico, ma non c'entrano niente col Krautrock; spesso sono teatrali ma non vanno mai confusi con certi pagliacci sbruffoni loro coevi. Disco bellissimo e trascinante...
Best Tracks: Amateur Hour, Complaints
A oddball album from the equally strange Sparks. Kimono my house, obviously features two classic singles in, this town ain't big enough for the both of us, and, amateur hour. The rest, although fine, sound too similar to each other, it all sounds the same. Nothing wrong with the songs, it's just I wish there were a few different sounds on here.
One of my favorite records of all time.
