Discovered by accident. Brilliant a Cappella (well, sometimes with piano) German vocal group that mixed jazz, pops, and even folky stuff, often tongue-in-cheek. Because they had several Jewish members, the Nazis forced them to expel those members, so they went downhill quickly after that. The late, great Lester Bangs absolutely loved these guys, and so do I. Check out the bio pic from Germany called "The Harmonists."
