Joe Cocker brings it to this 1991 collection of strictly interpretations of other composers work. What Cocker album would be complete without a cover of a Beatles song. Here is "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away." Elsewhere you'll find a Bryan Adams penned collaboration with Diane Warren, the Prince composition "Five Women," and a take on Steve Winwood's "Can't Find My Way Home." All are given the Blue Eyed Soul treatment of Joe Cocker, in a lot more convincing and heartfelt treatment than say Michael Bolton. A terrific early 90s effort.
