The sound of this record is heavily based on the electric piano played by arranger and musical director César Camargo Mariano, then the singer's husband. Although most of the songs are recent (3 by Milton Nascimento/Fernando Brant, 3 by Aldir Blanc/João Bosco and 2 by Gilberto Gil _ the remaining 2 are oldies by Ary Barroso and by then recently deceased Lupicínio Rodrigues), it doesn't sound modern or particularly exciting, so these versions are not as known today as the originals.
