Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.8/100, a mean average of 76.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.5.

Really chill album. Nice drumming and flute. Reminiscent of Foxygen but with a more blues & early rock influence. Very different stylistically to 'I'm In Your Mind Fuzz' and 'Nonagon Infinity'.
Track Picks: 'The Bitter Boogie', 'Sense' , 'Most of What I Like'

I hear influence from Neil Young, The Kinks, Elliott Smith, Foxygen, The Zombies, and Steely Dan on this album, which is very different from the kind of sound they have on Nonagon and In Your Mind, as rlang36 mentioned. I like this more, though, along with Quarters, which also seems less acid-rock and more chill psych-pop. It seems to be more their style.
Nice sounding album, flutes, whistles and acoustic guitars. After a few listens I read along with the lyrics and looked up what NGRI meant and was shocked by what I found...great stuff though all in all (Edited)
