How It Feels to Be Something On starts off strong with Pillars and Roses In Water, but starts to drop in quality with Every Shining Time You Arrive. The title track is another high point, but the record continues to struggle maintain its focus.

This band... How can I have lived all this time without noticing them? My life is a little better now :). 9/10.
Great album! The second half is better
I don't think that this album is quite as good or emotional packed as Diary, but it's an absolute classic regardless. In terms of catchy melodies, the band hits their zenith here, probably the first album to listen to if you want to get acclimated with Sunny Day Real Estate.
