Really good atmospheric ambient music. Great for introspection. Some of it sounds like it comes from a haunted house.
It doesn't bring a lot of new stuff to the genre. It technically a step up from Brian Eno's classic ambient album Music for Airports with a lot of organic nature samples.
Personally I prefer Boards of Canada, Four Tet, Aphex Twin and Bonobo when it comes to this genre in this decade. They have a bit more variation and innovation. But this is still pretty good, and it has a certain otherworldly touch.
