No hack here. That's the real me. Bear in mind Nights in White Satin is but one song in the Moodies ouvre and while it might have less than sunny elements, it is presented with tremendous beauty... and Justin's voice positively soars. Meanwhile, Rockin' in the Free World is NOT a joyful song. It is full of Young's snide political commentary.

@Fischman has someone hacked your account? Or is it some kind of inside joke? Because I can't believe that someone with whom I share so much can hate so much Neil Young. His voice I can understand but his lyrics? his music? You say "Lighten up and share some joy for a change." You love Moodly Blues' Nights in white satin which is full of sentences like "Another day's useless Energy spent... Lonely man cries for love and has none" Also, Young has some pretty joyful lyrics like in his hit "Rocking in the Free world"...

He should be top 10. He's made at least 5 stone-cold classics, and at least 5 other fantastic records. He's can be one of the most fragile, quiet folkys, and one of the loudest, angriest hard-rockers the world has ever seen.

My all-time favorite solo artist, he contains multitudes. Like some sort of musical mad prophet, he perceives the strangest things and then expresses them in unexpected, definitely *unusual* ways. So thankful for his "strange", un-radio-friendly voice.

As good as Dylan. Different, but just as legendary and great.

many good albums, the most honest lyricist, laid back revolutionary who made country music to surfers. Invented grunge, and had a unique way of playing which makes him one of the best guitar players ever. Also one of the greatest songwriters ever to step earth.

He is the only guy who managed to consistently make good albums for nearly five decades now. Something Bowie did not do. Or McCartney or the Stones. The only other artist I can think of still making great albums after more than 40 years are the Sparks - and they had some pretty weak periods.
