Brian's younger brother is a classically trained musician. He has produced many wonderful solo albums of instrumental music using both conventional instruments and synthesisers. He has made some notable collaboration albums with Lol Hammond, Plumbline, Laraaji but most notably The Familiar with Kate St John in 1993. He formed the group Channel Light Vessel with Kate St John, Bill Nelson and Laraaji, which made two albums.
