A very fine singer/songwriter - Ghosts Upon The Road is my pick.
A forgotten songwriter genious.
His best known (and rated on BEA) album - Blue River - has great moments but is too soft for me.
I like his albums "Ghosts Upon the Road" and "Memory Of The Future " better. I think his voice at that times sounds a bit like Bob Dylan.
