Cuando se habla de Gram Parsons como padre del country rock se suele olvidar, injustamente, a Chris Hillman. Su trayectoria no tiene parangón en la historia de la música popular americana: The Hillmen, Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers, Manassas, Souther/Hillman & Furay, Desert Rose Band, Rice/Rice/Hillman & Pedersen, etc.
