Decent rock band. One of the biggest Christian rock acts. Skillet were the first band I saw live, and they were amazing live. Unfortunately, they rarely capture that in studio.
I'll admit, I have become a bit more into Skillet lately, some of their songs are quite catchy. (My opinion)

Don't like this band as much as i used to, but they still got great music... they just aren't that consistent, Collide is their best album.
just love this band and their incredible songs!

One of the pioneers of Christian hard rock. I've been a fan since "Hey You, I love Your Soul" in 1998. After being very successful in the Christian rock market on smaller Christian labels, they finally got a major record deal before the re-release of "Collide" in 2004. 2006's Comatose was their first album to go gold. "Collide" and "Comatose" both received Grammy nominations. Their newest CD, 2009's "Awake," charted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200, selling around 68,000 units in its first week. Awake should be their first album to go platinum, as it has over 900k albums scanned to date. One of the best hard rock bands out there right now, churning out nothing but great albums for a little over a decade. One of my favorite all time bands (Hence the Panhead in my user name).
