Quite simply the greatest girl group in British pop music history. An insane run of almost unrelenting quality for the best part of 10 years during the 2000s, leaving a back catalogue of ridiculously catchy hits. Their underlying rock star fire blended with the innovative pop of Xenomania put them miles ahead of the curve for the pop music to come, and gave their era an infectious, ferociously exciting sound in the meantime. They have a very fond place in my heart.
