This is exactly the kind of band that makes 70s music worth exploring beyond the classics. Fantastic stuff.
The twin pillars of the Joplinesque vocals of Maggie bell and the fabulous Leslie harvey on guitar produced some great early ‘70’s blues inspired “rock” albums. The untimely death of Les at the age of 27, yes another great gone at that age, effectively ended the band. Great loss but also great music.
