Good to see Effigy mentioned at all to be honest. I came here to see if one of the best post-grunge songs of the 90s has been given a semblance of recognition on this site. Unfortunately it is completely absent... because nobody has rated the album it is from on any chart whatsoever.\r\n\r\nBut let it be known that the song I refer to above, called \'I Give In\', has got one of the very best Indy riffs you\'ll ever come across. It rocks, and there were many an inebriated night of youthful madness where this song was playing in the background. It came from their eponymous debut in 1997 but I guess an obscure, short-lived Aussie band from Perth will hardly register a murmur in the wider music community.
