Not as bad as the worst of the Hair Metal genre, but still pretty bad. Shame too, because Nuno's a talented guitarist.
Extreme have some really good songs and then some scratch your head really bad songs. It seemed like they had a lot of talent but weren't able to pull it together consistently. At times they were pop-metal or progressive metal or pop or hard rock. It kind of seems like they could never decide what type of band they wanted to be and weren't always good about combining the influences into a unique sound. Too bad.
