Shortlisted for album of the year at the Grammys in 2000. The Winner was Supernatural by Santana

masters of cheese from 90s, but in all honesty they had few MANUFACTURED hits that will forever be signature sound of that era. To anybody that gloryfies previous decades this is an eye opener - ye we had mainstream crap as well. i personaly probably gave them few more points then they deserve just out of nostalgia factor

anyways. i used to enjoy these guys a lot when i was a kid.
At the time Backstreet Boys was considered the better talent than N Sync. Time has been better on N Sync (Bye Bye Bye is still a bad ass song) and JT's successful solo career proves more talent was in that band than this one.
A documentary released later in their career brutally showed just how untalented these 5 are if someone isn't writing songs for them lyrically and musically.
Serviceable singer in their respective ranges but had little control over the creative proceedings of the product----which turns out to be a good thing for their wallets but not for their reputation
